Proteinrike scones/ Protein rich scones

Etter frokost i dag hadde jeg litt tid til overs. Akkurat nok tid til å bake en porsjon med scones. Denne oppskriften blir kun 4 , men veldig gode scones. Har du bakemaskin og ingrediensene klare tar det kun 20 min å lage inkl. steke tid.

  • 1,5 dl Hvetemel
  • 1dl sammalt hvetemel,grov
  • 1ss linfrø
  • 1ss havrekli
  • 2ts bakepulver
  • 1/2 ts salt
  • 50gr. smør
  • 250gr cottage cheese

Sett stekeovnen på 250 grader. Bland hvetemel, linfrø, havrekli, bakepulver og salt i en Food processor (bolle).Skjær smør i små biter og fordel det i blandingen. La maskinen gå til smøre er finfordelt. Tilsett cottage cheese og bland raskt sammen til en deig. Del deigen i fire deler og form til boller. Trykk dem flate på stekeplate som er dekket med bakepapir. Stek midt i ovnen i ca. 10 min.

After breakfast today I had some time to spare. Just enough time to bake a batch of scones. This recipe gets only 4, but very good scones. Do you have a Food processor and ingredients ready, it will  only  take about 20 minutes to make including baking time.

◾ 1,5 dl wheat

◾ 1DL wholemeal flour, coarse

◾ 1 tbsp flaxseed

◾ 1 tbsp oat bran

◾ 2 tsp baking powder

◾ 1/2 teaspoon salt

◾ 50gr. butter

◾ 250gr cottage cheese

Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Mix flour, flaxseed, oat bran, baking powder and salt in a food processor (bowl). Cutt butter into small pieces and pour in the mixture. Allow the machin to work untill the butter is evenly  divided. Add the cottage cheese and mix quickly into a dough. Divide the dough into four pieces and form into balls. Press them down on a baking sheet covered with paper. Bake in oven for approx. 10 min.
